What We Publish

  • We’re looking for amazing stories! Give us an exciting plot, some great characters, and a book that makes an impact.
  • Authors from diverse backgrounds, authors of colour, differently abled authors, and LGBT+ authors are all welcome to submit their work at Big Thinking Publishing. We want to share your stories and promote diverse voices.
  • We love to see contemporary fiction, romance, crime fiction and thrillers, fantasy, science fiction, cosy mysteries, and more. We also publish Children’s fiction, from picture books to middle-grade.
  • Debut authors and established novelists are welcome to submit manuscripts. We work with anyone who can knock our socks off with a great story!
  • Agents are also welcome to submit a client’s work.
  • English language only please.

Submit Your Manuscript!

Please include in an email to submissions@bigthinkingpublishing.com:

  1. The first 3 chapters of your manuscript, attached as a .pdf or Word .doc.
  2. Title the document as follows: “YOUR NAME – Title of the Work” (if you could add your name and the title to the “Header” of the document too, that would be helpful).
  3. A 3-paragraph synopsis in the body of the email, including what genre you see your book belonging in. (A synopsis should be the full plot of the story.)
  4. 100 words about yourself in the body of the email.
  5. You must include the word “submission” in the subject line of the email so it reaches the right people.

We aim to be in touch within one month if your submission is of interest. During this window, please only get in touch if your circumstances change. For example, you have had a response from another publisher or you have signed up with a literary agent.
