Andrea Hartley
Angela Hartley is a self published author who began writing three years ago after a successful career in the Defence Industry. Now happily retired, she writes contemporary fiction with her heartwarming novels a joy to read. Her strong characters and unpredictable plots are her speciality, with five novels published to date. Whilst her latest novel, The Dishonourable Groom, is a murder mystery and a slight change of genre, it retains the same style and quality of writing as her earlier novels.
Angela loves to travel and this is something that is reflected in her stories as she draws on her own personal experiences.
Married, with two grown-up children, a granddaughter and a dog, Angela now splits her time between Poulton-le-Fylde and Tenerife, where she enjoys writing and wintering in the sunshine.
Angela’s work can be found on Amazon in paperback or ebook format at: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=angela+hartley+books&crid=1HAAACJLFFL73&sprefix=Angela+hart%2Caps%2C146&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_4_11

Barnard Publishing
Founded in 2022 by Becca Barnard, our publishing house was born from a deep love for literature and a steadfast commitment to amplifying the voices of those often overlooked. We believe that every narrative has the power to inspire, challenge, and transform, and it is our mission to bring these exceptional stories to the world.
The seed for Barnard Publishing was planted while Becca was pursuing her Master’s degree at Bangor University. As she delved into the world of literature, she recognised a glaring gap: so many incredible stories remained untold simply because their authors lacked the platform or resources to share them. With a heart full of determination and a passion for inclusivity, Becca set out to create a publishing house that would break down barriers and champion the work of underrepresented voices.
We believe that everyone has a story to tell. Whether it’s a novel that transports readers to another world, a memoir that delves into the depths of personal experience, or a collection of poetry that captures the essence of the human spirit, we are here to help those stories find their way into the hands of readers who will cherish them.
